"Yes Rico, Kaboom!"
What is a shooter without having an almost unlimited supply of explosives?
In this blog post we'll be taking a look at a selection of grenades, grenade launcher rounds, rocket types, abilities and whatever else I could find that you might find interesting.
Keep in mind that explosive damage to yourself is enabled at all times ;)
Throw- and launchables
Sticky Grenade
Legally not a Semtex-Grenade, but functionally very much a sticky grenade. Once you throw it, it sticks to the first thing it touches.

Plastic explosives encased in a shrapnel casing
While the fragmentation deals heavy flesh damage, it has limited effect on armored targets.
Incendiary Grenade
A perfect tool for area denial and dealing damage to hard-to-hit ground based enemies.
Also equipped with a smart fuse making the grenade explode only on a ground surface.

Depending on the angle the grenade has been thrown at, the resulting area of effect is smaller or larger.
The fire spreads in a cone with the main source fire always in the center of the impact point.
HEDP Shells
An all time classic for grenade and rocket launchers.
These things explode on contact with the first thing it touches!

Good all-around-performance but a slow rate of fire as a trade off.
Abilities
Tracking Rockets
Perfect for flying or armored targets, these things lock on to every enemy you can think of.
Once the rocket misses or near-misses its target, it automatically self destructs to still inflict damage.

Up to 4 Rockets can be stored on a rack, and all 4 Rockets can individually lock on to a different enemy.
Plasma Caster
When using this experimental plasma weapon, you sacrifice your EM-BRs left hand for a powerful weapon shooting an orb of unstable plasma. The resulting explosion on contact with any surface is devastating, vaporizing almost any organic (or inorganic) material in its radius.

With this weapon equipped, you'll be limited to a few selected melee and ranged primary weapons, since the EM-BRs left Hand can no longer be used to reload the guns.
Other Explosives
Lunom Bomber
When "non-critically" killing a Lunom Bomber, the Bombers mutated internal organs start to combust.
The resulting explosion deals damage to both friends and enemies alike, so the Bombers can also be used offensively.



Lunom Bomber Suicide Attack
"Non-critical"-kill also means when your EM-BR Unit steps on one.
At the center of the explosion the damage is quite high, so take care.
Regular ol' Barrels
Of course, there are some barrels scattered around the map filled with oil or unstable lunom.
You can try shooting at them and see what happens!
